PROJECT

The project

The project brings together all levels of society (from civil society organizations working directly with citizens to a research center that mainly deals with scientists), but the primary target group is inter-municipal and inter-sectoral bodies operating in the EU and providing their services. As already mentioned, the project aims to improve these services by encouraging civic participation in their management. The project creates a network of regional associations of different nature to influence national and European policy-making processes in order to strengthen legislation in this area. It uses various participatory tools such as film interviews with citizens, research through questionnaires, in-depth interviews/discussions with citizens, round tables within the project target group.

In particular, this project creates a network of EU regional associations of different focus: clusters, regional development agencies, interest associations and state-run higher territorial units that emphasize the strength of the network.
